Meet Ali & Summer!
Nurse Practitioner, Ali Conner, created Summer Skin Medical to help patients gain confidence through non-surgical aesthetic solutions that work. She has a passion for making smiles and enabling patients to look and feel their best.
“Summer” of Summer Skin Medical is Ali’s 15-year-old black lab who has never seen a hand she didn’t want to nuzzle. SS Med models its approach to patient care after Summer’s warmth and welcoming spirit.
Ali’s background as a trauma and intensive care nurse prepared her for a career of caring for patients in need. As a natural caretaker, Ali has long appreciated the nursing-school quote: “Let others see their own greatness when looking into your eyes.” She continues her education in the aesthetic industry with thousands of hours of safety training to advance best practices in patient care and results.
Above all, SS Med values creating an inclusive environment where all patients feel welcome. Services are delivered for the benefit they provide patients, starting with the ability to be satisfied in their appearance and feel confident and comfortable.
Meet Jacquelyn!
Office and Social Media Manager, Jacquelyn Monroe, has been a loyal patient to Summer Skin before starting her journey here. She has always had a passion for esthetics and all things beauty! In her spare time, she appreciates reading, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
Jacquelyn graduated with her bachelors of business from UNG in December of 2023. During her college career, she swapped majors several times not knowing what she wanted to do in her career. However, she is happy that her journey made her land at Summer Skin Medical! Growing up, she wanted to be a nurse injector. But, being a little squeamish, she ended up on the management side of things. Either way, she is ecstatic to work alongside Ali in a field she loves!
Her favorite part of her job would be getting to see patients and talk with them about all things aesthetics! She also enjoys being in an environment she loves, and having a boss that values her.
Meet Sydney!
Medical Esthetician, Sydney Bowman, has been passionate about being an Esthetician since she was in high school. In her spare time, she enjoys weight lifting, spending time with family and friends, and trying new gluten free recipes! She is recently engaged, about to marry her high school sweetheart.
After high school, she went straight into the Esthetics program at Athens Tech, graduating in 2022. Soon after graduation, she quickly became certified to do lash extensions and spray tans as well. She is continuing her education to become laser and IV certified.
Her favorite thing about her job would be “making people feel the best version of themselves!” Whether it be a relaxing facial, upkeeping lashes/brows, or a spray tan, Sydney is here to help you unwind and make your day-to-day life low-key.
